I have been actively involved in movement my entire life. I have been a dancer for over 30 years having performed professionally for half of my dance career. My passion for dance has enabled me the wonderful opportunity to travel to many countries throughout the world and learn how various cultures move, eat and live. As a little girl I remember gathering all of my elementary school friends together and hosting aerobics classes in my backyard accompanied by my pink Panasonic "ghetto-blaster", armed with the rhythms of two tapes: Tiffany & some-style Caribbean music.

Built on a foundation of discipline, devotion and passion for movement I would transform my love of kinetics into a career as one of the most sought-after medical health & wellness professionals in a very specialized industry. I have been actively involved in the fitness and medical fitness community for over 15 years. I have taught everything from dance, step aerobics, Zumba, spin and boot camps to facilitating cardiac rehabilitation classes, chronic disease management programs and corporate wellness initiatives.


I do want you to know I haven't always been healthy and fit. I was once a dangerously thin 82lbs standing 5'3" tall, and on the other hand at one point weighed 149lbs on my tiny frame. I have been on both sides of the health and fitness spectrum so I understand how people feel when they come to me needing help losing or gaining weight. I know how it feels to have no curves, poor health and no energy. I also know what it feels like to have too much body fat, no motivation and want to hide under clothes. Unhealthy comes in all forms and I share my own past experiences to better relate to my clients.




I am the Founder & Owner of O'Brien Fitness -- the platform upon which I take a "Total Body Approach" -- caring for the mind and body -- with all of my clients. My mission is to educate, support and motivate my clients by delivering a healthy living and disease prevention experience so that they may achieve optimal health from the inside -- out.

I am a TV & Radio Wellness Educator. I am the resident Personal Trainer & Fitness Expert on CTV News "Living Well" Show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Living Well discusses healthy living topics focused around exercise, eating well, and staying fit and illness-free. My health and wellness promotion extends beyond prime time TV and into the supplement industry where I am a Brand Ambassador with Popeye's Supplements Canada. I truly believe that a diet based in holistic nutrition and complemented with a customized supplement program is the blueprint for optimal health.




As human beings we continue to grow and evolve in order to better ourselves inside and out. What is my goal? Simple. I want to continue to be a positive role model and healthy influence in this world. I want to continue sharing my own personal growth and experience, positive energy and personal success while helping others in their journey, whatever that might look like. I want to continue to help people transform their lives -- to be the change I wish to see in the world.  I want to cultivate a movement for people to believe in themselves enough to BE BOLD. BE BRAVE and to BE THEIR BEST SELF.
